Family Workshop – Medieval Tile Making

Nestled within the Cathedral’s Baptistry, you’ll discover a hidden treasure trove of original tiles adorned with captivating designs, featuring majestic lions, fierce boars, playful bears, and delicate flowers.

This immersive workshop is the perfect opportunity for children aged between 5-12 to unleash their creativity and delve into the fascinating art of tile making. Led by our talented education facilitator, Katherine McCormack, this engaging session will not only inspire young minds but also provide a hands-on experience they will cherish for life.

Throughout the workshop, children will have the chance to learn the intricate processes involved in tile making, from moulding the clay to painting and decorating their very own unique masterpieces.
