Reverend Jennifer McWhirter installed as Prebend xxx

On Sunday 23 September the Dean installed the Reverend Jennifer McWhirter as Prebendary of Kilmactalway. Canon McWhirter was appointed by the   Bishop of Tuam Killala and Achonry in succession to the Venerable Gary   Hastings. We were pleased to welcome Canon McWhiter and her family and friends at a reception after Choral Evensong.  

Volunteers needed for World War One art installation xxx

Saint Patrick’s Cathedral is delighted to announce plans for an art installation to coincide with the centenary of the end of World War One. Sessions added to schools programme for 2017! xxx

Last academic year the Cathedral welcomed close to 5000 primary and secondary school students. They availed of Saint Patrick’s free education programme which allows Irish students (of any age) free entry into the building.
