Choristerships available for September 2018

We are currently on the lookout for the next generation of choristers and have 10 such places for children (boys & girls) to join the 3^rd class this September.

These choristerships open up a world of opportunities and experiences to children aged 7-14 and include performing on a professional level on a daily basis (in the stunning surroundings Ireland’s largest Cathedral) to thousands of people every year! In addition to this; the choristers give regular concerts, tour, broadcast and have made 4 commercial CD recordings in recent years.

Last, but not least, they receive their school education at Ireland’s only surviving specialist Choir School (est. 1432) with all the added benefits of attending a small school!

As part of their musical education, all choristers are encouraged to learn an instrument. For those already receiving private instrumental/vocal tuition – generous bursaries are available for parents ranging from €500-€630 p/a per child to help pay for this.
