CMF Grants Announcement

We are delighted to announce that the Cathedral has been awarded €100,000 under the Community Monuments Fund by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage. This funding will support urgently needed repointing at the west end of the Cathedral and the removal of modern plaster from the medieval vaults of the baptistry. We are very grateful to the Minster, James Browne, T.D. for this support and to our architect, James Howley, who applied for this grant on behalf of the Cathedral Board.
