The RECDP offers a free meal delivery service to community members in need during these difficult times together with their community partners in www.Slunchbox.com.
Slunchbox were concerned about the additional pressure on families of school age children who would normally be fed daily as part of their participation on programmes like Robert Emmet CDP afterschool project and started a free meal service to meet these needs. This service is a reaction to the Covid-19 emergency and has not received any central funding to date; it is wholly reliant on voluntary donations. The need for this service has grown and currently far outstrips the 27 meals Robert Emmet CDP are delivering on a daily basis.
