Lunchtime Recital: Corpus Christi Church Choir

The Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Pilgrimage Choir of singers is a volunteer choir of all ages formed from members of Corpus Christi’s Music Ministry. Corpus Christi is a catholic parish in Piedmont California in the San Francisco Bay Area under the pastoral leadership of Fr Leo J. Edgerly, Jr.  The Music Ministry under the direction of Joseph Hébert serves the parish community liturgies every week through the ministries of cantors, choirs, and instrumentalists.  The Music Ministry of Corpus Christi is honored by this opportunity to share music in Ireland, inspired by a rich history of composers of chant, medieval, contemporary, and African American Spirituals. The Corpus Christi Choir has been on three European choral tours, including tours to Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Spain, and Italy, where they performed a concert for the city of Rome and sang for the Pope at the Vatican.
