Dive into the colourful world of stained glass with this informative and artsy workshop!
First, take a tour of our Cathedral’s beautiful stained glass windows and explore how they made these amazing works of art! Learn all about how medieval craftspeople used sand, fire, and chemistry to carefully arrange a jigsaw of glass and create these beautiful images.
Then, make your own piece of art to take home! Design a faux ‘stained glass’ bookmark with markers, paper, and coloured plastic film.
This workshop is perfect for young art, science, or history lovers. It is recommended for children aged 6 and up. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
