Family Workshops in July and August

Following up on the recent success of our Easter family workshops, the Cathedral’s education department are delighted to announce our exciting new programme of family friendly events that will be held in the Cathedral on Tuesdays throughout July and August.

We have gathered experienced education facilitators from around the world to introduce families to new crafts and experiences. These will range from book binding to tile making and manuscript illumination to felt tapestries. For those of you looking for something other than arts and crafts we are also offering a musical workshop and a story-telling workshop filled with exciting adventures and mysteries.

A particularly special workshop, Cathedrals, Castles & Knights will take place on Tuesday 12th July which will see us linking up with the education department from Dublin Castle with participants spending the morning in the Cathedral designing their own model cathedrals, followed up by an afternoon in Dublin Castle. We are delighted to be working with another of Dublin’s important medieval institutions. We look forward to working closely with them again in the future.
