The six organ symphonies of Louis Vierne were written to showcase the new exciting organs of visionary organ builder Aristide Cavaillé-Coll in 19th century Paris. Acknowledged as one of the crowning glories of the repertoire, this Heritage Week you can experience all 6 of these great works performed across 4 concerts by Cathedral Organist, David Leigh. Sit back and listen as the 4,000 pipes of the magnificent Willis organ fills the Cathedral. All the action from the organ loft is then relayed via a giant screen in the Nave.
