Among the many highlights of the Cathedral is the west window, which shows the life of Saint Patrick in 39 images. It starts in the bottom left corner when he was captured as a slave and then brought to Ireland to work as shepherd. On the right hand side he escapes from captivity and returns home. He then receives a vision in the night telling him to return to Ireland and tell people about Christianity. In the centre panes, he travels around Ireland converting the pagan Irish.
We have turned the beautiful west window into a family-friendly colouring book, which you can download for free below!
